Position Summary:
Each Account Executive ("AE") will be responsible for achieving an annual bookings quota consisting of booked revenue for software license, software maintenance and SaaS sales through positioning and selling the Kewill portfolio of products within their assignment. An aassignment may consist of the following (amongst other things): a geographic territory, a pre-defined list of target accounts, named install base accounts, or any combination thereof. Assignments will be made in alignment with the Company's goals, and focus predminantly (if not exclusively) on the acquisition of new logos. The AE will, as required, perform tasks related to sales, marketing and partnership activities to build sufficient pipeline coverage.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Achievement of personal, software revenue quota
- Develop a territory plan that includes activities to build a pipeline required to meet and exceed annual revenue goals
- Provides accurate account / prospect / revenue forecast commitments through the corporate CRM system
- Creates and maintains detailed sales and close plans for all key new business sales opportunities
-Plans, leads and coordinates the sales engagement process from prospecting, through to qualification, and then to close
- Maintains relationship with prospects at all levels from user to executive, and aligns Kewill's resources to the customer's organization accordingly
- Proactively engages and nurtures leads to turn these into qualified prospects
- Follows up on inbound leads in accordance with the agreed process & timing
- Value-based approach to selling solutions: works with internal resources to produce a high relevant, compelling and differentiated value proposition
- Understands the industry drivers and competitor landscape
- Participates in and supports industry events and activity as required.
- Works closely with Finance, Professional Services, Marketing, Product and Legal to close sales transactions within company guidelines
- Maintains a professional and ethical relationship with internal Kewill employees, partners, customers, prospects and all external relationships
Functie-eisen
- Excellent Dutch & English written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Minimum of 7 years of quota-carrying, complex application software sales experience, successfully selling into new logo accounts, at all tier levels and at all levels within organizations
- Experience of selling supply chain logistics solutions
- Self motivated; high energy and demonstrated leadership in a matrixed environment
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment
- Understands how to differentiate between what a prospect "wants" and "needs", ability to separate strategic and tactical requirements, and influencing the outcome of a sales process accordingly
- Experience of working with CRM systems; experience of SalesForce.com would be advantageous
- Ability to work with partner organizations to collaboratively secure business
- Understands revenue recognition guidelines for software sales
- Bachelors' Degree preferred
