The Project Manager, based in The Netherlands and reporting into the Strategic Account Manager Professional Services Group of Kewill Logistics Europe, will lead multiple client-facing (inter)national, complex and mostly high profile software implementation projects.
The Project Manager carries responsibility for delivering quality projects, on time and on budget, to Kewill customers. A minimum of 5 years in-depth experience in running complex Logistics software implementation projects, is required. The Project Manager is a team player with a proven Project Management track record and capable of working at different operating and management levels internally in Kewill and externally with our clients.
The Project Manager will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in Dutch and English and preferably one additional language.
Responsibilities:
- lead the planning and implementation of project
- facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- define project tasks and resource requirements
- develop full scale project plans
- assemble and coordinate project staff
- manage project budget
- manage project resource allocation, direct and indirect where needed
- plan and schedule project timelines
- track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- provide direction and support to project team
- quality assurance
- constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- project evaluations and assessment of results
Functie-eisen
- Minimum of five years experience in delivering software implementation projects within Logistics
- A degree in business or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, multiple languages
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, and also as part of a large team
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Certified PRINCE2 expert or other equivalent methodologies.
- Financial acumen
- Skilled in MS project
- Good technical skills or technical awareness
- Able and willing to travel, flexible working times.
